People who leave uninvited signatures show either a) a lack of forum etiquette knowledge or (more likely) b)a lack of class by in effect spamming the forum / blog.

Yeah, I’m not sure how I feel about phone numbers. Depends on context, I guess. Though, we generally don’t want to allow people to share personal contact details on the forums.

Thanks for putting it out in a clearly understandable form. This should probably extended to cover contact numbers (Mobile, Landline etc). I have some member who just sign off with their cell phone number/ website and do not heed PMs too.
May be its time to rephrase it along your write up’s format to make people understand. Well I feel its worth a try.
