		<description>Thanks for the comment, Sue. I&#039;m glad that you liked the article. This article is focused on when to decide to disallow your members from linking to a particular site ever again (or, at least, indefinitely). Spam is one application, but perhaps not the primary one.

I appreciate you sharing that. It&#039;s definitely a tool to keep in mind for dealing with spammers.

If any new members to our site post any links at all (within their first 3 posts) they are automatically sent to a moderation queue and do not go live. Myself and the moderators check the queue continually throughout the day. I&#039;ve found we catch 99% of spammers this way. It&#039;s greatly reduced the amount of spam on our site. It&#039;s not infallible, but a great tool to add to our &quot;anti-spam&quot; toolkit.</description>
